No matter where you are in Turkey, you have the opportunity to head out and travel Pergamon, the ancient site of Pergamon also known as Pergamum, is indeed an ancient city that dates back to the 5th century BC. This wonderful city was once the spot to be a learning center and of course cultural especially with its large library here that held over 20,000 volumes to be read, it was also known famously to be a roman medical center to which the remains of this can still be seen vividly today.
